I’m a Physicist but I work as a Maintenance Engineer. Why? First – because I’m better paid as an engineer and Second – because, frankly, I’m not quite normal. And anybody knows that a real engineer is anything but normal.
I don’t have the “knack syndrome” but I have a lot of other social inaptitude that qualifies me as an engineer.
